How Radiesse Works
Calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres are injected into the targeted area within a smooth gel carrier. The gel immediately fills and lifts the area, while the microspheres stimulate fibroblasts (the cells responsible for collagen production) to begin building new tissue around them.
As the gel and microspheres gradually absorb over the following months, the new collagen they stimulated remains, maintaining structure and volume naturally. This two-phase action is what sets Radiesse apart from traditional fillers.
