Question 1

What does face shaping actually involve?

Accepted Answer

Face shaping uses injectable treatments to address concerns related to facial structure, proportion, and balance. This can include restoring volume that has been lost over time, softening areas of the face, enhancing specific features, or improving facial symmetry. The approach is entirely dependent on your individual anatomy and what you want to achieve.

Question 2

Can injectables slim the face?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Neuromodulators can be used to reduce the activity of the masseter muscles, which sit at the jaw, producing a slimming effect on the lower face over time. This is a popular treatment for those who feel their face is too wide or square in the lower third, or who grind their teeth. The effect is gradual and natural-looking.

Question 3

Will results look natural?

Accepted Answer

Natural results are always the goal. We take a conservative, considered approach to face shaping, working with your existing anatomy rather than against it. Product selection, placement, and volume are all determined on a case-by-case basis to support balanced, proportionate results that look like you.

Question 4

How do I know which treatment is right for my goals?

Accepted Answer

The right treatment depends entirely on what you want to address. Neuromodulators are most effective for concerns related to muscle activity and facial slimming. Dermal fillers add volume and structure to specific areas. Sculptra works gradually to stimulate your own collagen for a more foundational result. We discuss all of this during your consultation and recommend the approach that makes the most sense for your face and goals.

Question 5

What if I'm nervous about injectables?

Accepted Answer

Completely normal, and something we hear often. Our approach is unhurried and we never pressure anyone into treatment. We take the time to walk you through exactly what is involved, what to expect, and what results are realistic for you before anything is decided.

Question 6

How long do results last?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the treatment. Neuromodulator results typically last 3 to 6 months. Dermal filler results last 6 to 12 months or longer depending on the product and area treated. Sculptra results build gradually and can last up to 2 years once the full series is complete. We outline what to expect for each treatment during your consultation.
