What Is PRP / PRF Hair Treatment?
PRP and PRF hair treatments use each individual patient's own natural healing system to support follicle health and stimulate hair growth. A small amount of blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. The resulting concentrate, either PRP or PRF depending on your treatment protocol, is then injected directly into the scalp.
When delivered to the scalp, the platelets release growth factors that stimulate follicle activity, encourage dormant follicles to re-enter the active growth phase, and support the production of healthier, thicker hair over time. Because the treatment uses your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is very low.

How PRP / PRF Works for Hair
A small amount of your blood is drawn by our naturopathic physician into an approved collection kit. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, producing either PRP or PRF depending on your treatment protocol.
Once prepared, the concentrate is injected directly into the areas of the scalp where thinning or loss is occurring. The platelets release growth factors that communicate with the follicle cells, stimulating repair, reducing scalp inflammation, and supporting a return to the active growth phase.
PRP and PRF hair treatment is commonly used to address:
